Bio:

As a new recruit to the Guard he was assigned to a unit of guardsmen, part of a legion fighting on Betalis III located in the binary Betalis System of the Talis Munus Sector of the Segmentum Solar. He formed some friends within the unit and was with them when they were ambushed by a large cohort of Eldar. During the battle he was knocked down by a howling banshee, who barely missed carving his head in two, leaving the scar across his face. Whilst most of his comrades were killed in the fighting, he and a few others escaped, giving him his demeanour and drive to this day.
